Andybot lives in Pittsburgh and compiles the events listings for a weekly newspaper.

His areas of blogging concentration include newspaper comics (with particular attention given to Mary Worth, Rex Morgan, M.D., and The Family Circus), music (with particular attention to local music goings-on, and Ben Folds Five), and media studies.

His publications include a few random articles in the newspaper and some stuff that he wrote for online outlets that he’s now ashamed to link to.

He is once-and-possibly-future member of the not-particularly-noted defunct post-rock band the sea, like lead, who have been described as “kind of like Mogwai,” and “played with Xiu Xiu once.”
