snow can do

February 13, 2007

After much negotiation, I worked out a deal wherein the Snowmiser would dump some ice on us this week so the school kids could be happy. In exchange, I’m letting the Heatmiser erode the polar ice caps a bit further. Don’t anybody tell Al Gore about this.

Other places are closing early today and sending their folks home; I suspect this will not happen here. In lieu of leaving, I’m finding a little bit of work to do and getting hyped up on java. And preparing for the long trudge home. And considering calling Mr. Plow.

Since it’s cold and you don’t want to leave the house, cuddle up with your computer and read this interview with Rhys Chatham. It involves all the aspects of a good music interview: history, no-wave name-dropping, detailed description of a sexual experience, tonality, etc. etc. etc.

Editor’s note: I apologize to my employer; we get out an hour early and don’t have to come in until noon tomorrow. Thank you employer.
